It’s almost time to Hangout.
Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival has quickly become one of the South’s best annual music festivals, with a huge parade of artists rocking stages right along the Gulf Shores beach. With festivities set to commence on Thursday, the full schedule has been released, which means it’s time to start planning your weekend. Check out the full schedule in the slideshow above.
With Phoenix filling in for Frank Ocean on Friday, fans of indie and psych rock have a full day ahead of them. Mac DeMarco, MGMT, Weezer and Phoenix will alternate on the two main stages, while Dillon Francis will close down the Boom Boom Tent with a set beginning at 9:45pm.
Saturday’s schedule is impressive in its variety. Toronto rapper Tory Lanez, indie-folk rockers Band of Horses, festival favorites Major Lazer and wildly popular alt rockers Twenty One Pilots will be hitting the main stages. And the Boom Boom Tent will feature a performance from the post rock pioneers Sigur Ros.
Sunday, things wind down with a headlining set from Mumford & Sons, as well as a DJ set from one of the biggest new names in dance, Marshmello. DJ Snake will also be bringing his popular bass music to the beach on Sunday, along with Chance The Rapper, marking the final day as an uptempo end to the fun.
We haven’t even mentioned the opening night party with performances from Cherub, DJ Jazzy Jeff and arguably the biggest rap group in the world at the moment, Migos. It all adds up to one of the best festivals of the summer, so don’t miss out: a limited number of three-day passes, VIP tickets and Super VIP experiences are still available.
