American Girl Sisters Summer Camp
Fabulous fun is to be shared between children and their dolls. This is a camp created by three girls who loved American Girl Dolls growing up. Three hours of fun with friends and their dolls, this camp entails games and crafts. The last day includes a tea party, so wear a party dress. Dolls to not have to be American Girl brand. Camp is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch and snacks are served, and will accommodate all food allergies. Total cost is $150. There’s a $15 charge for each additional doll.
Session 1: June 21-23, Beach Day, Project Runway Day and Tea Party Day
Session 2: June 26-28, Sports Day, Create Day and Tea Party Day

Montalvo Electronic Art
Campers will learn what they can create when armed with a battery, some wire and their innate imagination during this introduction to electronics. The week will offer instruction about what circuits are and how electricity works, and opportunities to design a low-voltage circuit and to take their lessons to the next level as they conceptualize and create electronic art, including small robots and games of skill. Class is appropriate for ages 9-14 and costs $235.
Session: July 17-21, 9 a.m. to noon.

Karate and self-defense
This class is suitable for beginners over 8 years old who have met the requirements from Chang Tai Do Karate Tots classes. Students will explore a variety of stances, blocks, punches, kicks, self-defense, forms(kata), sparring (kumite) and instruments (escrima sticks), as well as combination, techniques and stretching. There is a mandatory $345 one-time fee for sparring equipment that will last three years or more. Classes are in the multipurpose toom at the Saratoga Senior Center, 19655 Allendale Ave.
Session 1: July 10-Sept. 18, Mondays, 5-7 p.m. $197.
Session 2: July 12-Sept. 20, Wednesdays, 5-7 p.m. $197.

Bead like a pro
Learn professional jewelry-making techniques while creating elegant, versatile pieces. A materials fee of $25-$35 is paid to the instructor on the first day of the class. Classes are located at the Warner Hutton House at 13777 Fruitvale Ave. Each session costs $34.

Preschool ballet and tap
This class will teach basic tap technique, rhythm and graceful ballet moves in this tap and ballet combo class. Sessions are $144 and are held at the Joan Pisano Community Center Dance Studio at 19655 Allendale Ave.
